“The Canaries of Atlantis” is a piece that combines two different materials, faience and brass.
The canaries are colored using the manual airbrush painting technique.
The branches, where they land, are unique, produced according to the sand mold casting process.
Each piece is accompanied by fixing material, which also makes it possible to place it on the wall or in suspension, such as on shelves, from the introduction of a ballast.
A piece or its ensemble allows a variety of positions and formal recreations.

Founded in 2013 Laboratório d'estórias is a Portuguese brand that aims to tell and retell the history of its country through common and traditional objects. Through typically Portuguese techniques and materials such as ceramics from Caldas da Rainha and working together with illustrators modern and creative decorative pieces are created that tell parts of our history and popular legends. The goal of the brand is to create objects that go beyond the functional or decorative, that are part of a story and that awaken the curiosity of its customers.
Orders to Europe are shipped via UPS Standard. The estimated delivery time is 3 to 5 business days. Shipping costs for European orders range from €10 to €15, with free shipping for orders over €150.
Orders outside of Europe are shipped via CTT (Portuguese National Post). The estimated delivery time is up to 14 days. Shipping costs are €30 and customs fees may apply upon arrival.
